NOISE COMPLAINTS

Procedure for Residents troubled by noise.

Sesswick Community Council (SCC) has noted that a number of residents contacting SCC who are disturbed by noise, for example by the barking of dogs.

In summary:

1. there is a need to create an account with MyAccount (if you haven’t already)

2. register with the Contact Centre (report noise nuisance online).

3. Ideally download the Noise app for :

a. Android The Noise App - Apps on Google Play or

b. Iphone ‎The Noise App App - App Store

c. Or keep a record of the nuisance

4. Submit the evidence to WCBC

5. WCBC will review the evidence and if appropriate visit to install noise measuring apparatus to enable them to progress the complaint.
